A Schengen Visa allows you to visit 26 European countries, plus an additional three if you have more than one. 1.The Visa Application for the Schengen – Certain countries allow you to apply or fill out the application form online, but it must be completed and signed.

2.Two Passport-sized photos – To be eligible, the photograph must be no older than six months and have a white background.

3.Passport(s) – Passports must be valid for three months after the expiry of the visa and have at least two blank pages.

4.UAE Residency Permit- For at least three months after the expiry of your visa, your iqama must be in effect.

5.Photocopy of the following (1 each):

• Passport bio-page
• The passport bearer must sign the signature page of the passport.
• UAE residency permit
• Previously Issued Schengen Visas
• Emirates ID for those GCC nationals.

6.Overseas Medical Insurance – It should apply to all Schengen countries and cover the duration of a person's stay or transit.

7.Proof of the applicant's financial means – e.g., Bank statements from the previous three months, assets, and so forth.

8.Visa Fee – The standard visa price is EUR 80 for adults and EUR 40 for children aged 4 to 11. The application center may charge extra service fees. Usually, it is paid in local currency, with conversion rates varying by country.

A Step-by-Step Guide to Getting a Schengen Visa in Dubai

When you apply for a work and residence permit, be sure to include all of the appropriate documents. Although the specifics can differ significantly based on your circumstance, the following is expected:

STEP 1: Select the country where you want to apply. This can be the location where you will spend most of your days or if the duration is equal, the place where you will arrive first.

STEP 2: Collect all of the documents you'll need for your application.

STEP 3: Contact the Visa Application Center or the Embassy to make an appointment.You may or may not be requested to secure payment first.
